Jimmy Winemiller, an experienced business leader in the farming
industry for more than 55 years, has bred and raised thoroughbred racing
horses since 1997. Along with his wife, Jimmy Winemiller has owned over
100 thoroughbreds.
In 2008, after selling his horse farm, Jimmy
Winemiller hired bloodstock agent, J David York Smith to cull his herd
and purchase new stock. Jimmy Winemiller now owns four mares and their
offspring. He plans to purchase fillies in the fall at Keeneland.
Currently
Jimmy Winemiller has three two year olds in training in Hot Springs,
Arkansas. They are by Quiet American, Regal Ransom and Storm and a
Half. The Winemiller's plan to run them this fall at The Fairgrounds in
New Orleans then at Oaklawn Park in Hot Springs.
