Jimmy Winemiller has built a career selling commercial and residential real estate in the South. In 2012, Jimmy Winemiller sold his Iron Horse Farm in Perryville, Arkansas, to Calfneck Capital Corporation. The real estate investor and horse-racing enthusiast initially purchased the property to breed and train horses. A few of the horses born on Iron Horse Farm have competed in popular races, including the one at Louisiana Downs.

Louisiana Downs is located in Bossier City, and is the home of the Super Derby, one of the most popular events for racing 3-year-old horses in North America. Opening in 1974 to 15,000 fans, the track set records for attendance. The first Super Derby was then held in 1980 on a 1.25-mile track.

The track has become popular for hosting some of the most successful horses in racing, including Preakness winners, Belmont Stakes winners, Travers Stakes winners, and four Kentucky Derby winners.

Jimmy Winemiller has been working since losing his father at the age of 13. As a teenager, he began performing various duties at a funeral home, and after graduating from high school, started to purchase and sell real estate in Arkansas. Over the years, his land investments have expanded throughout the United States. Jimmy Winemiller presently serves as agent for Brevard Harbor Edge, LLC, in Martin County, Florida, and as operator at Mallard Manor in Drew, Mississippi. He continues to manage a number of personally owned properties as well. Though his travels generally involve surveying farmland for professional purposes, he has been fortunate enough to visit and own land in Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, California, and Florida, to name just a few locations.

When he finds a moment to step away from work, Jimmy Winemiller enjoys listening to music. He is particularly fond of Sonny Burgess and the Legendary Pacers. Mr. Winemiler has been friends with the group since his high school days in Newport, Arkansas, and was present when the band recorded Red Headed Woman in Memphis at Sun Studio. He has additional musical ties to the owners of Kings Club in Swifton, Arkansas, and Newport’s Silver Moon.
